Pamela Weir – Copywriter/Marketing Consultant

After graduating from the University of Waterloo with a BA in Psychology, Pamela began her copywriting career by researching and producing business-to-business (B2B) ad copy for Fortune 500 companies. Over the last 10 years, she has held various positions in writing, advertising, marketing, and public relations. In 2008, she began seeking opportunities to work with small business owners who were interested in utilizing social media tools to improve their marketing results.

In September of 2009, Pamela was invited to speak at the PRGC High-Performance Business Symposium to discuss advanced leadership skills and new media tools to build streamlined, high-performing companies. Featured alongside the COO of Toronto Maple Leafs Sports & Entertainment, the former CEO of Cott Corp., and the VP of CAA, she demonstrated the business potential of social media, accelerated marketing methods and the importance of online reputation management.

Pamela specializes in the Not-For-Profit, Leadership Development, Coaching, Speaking, Healthcare, Personal Development and Real Estate industries. Blending traditional and new media techniques, she helps clients organize their online business efforts, develop educational products, improve search engine marketing (SEM) practices, and gain media attention.
